I enjoyed this one while I was working on the rock itself but the trees were not as fun. I like to use watercolor to paint trees but that just wasn’t practical on this one since they were close up pine trees. Pencil made more sense and they turned out just fine. They just took a long time and it was rather tedious work. Oh well, all’s well that ends well and I think this came out quite nicely. I’ll try to get a better photo up as soon as I can. The sky is actually blue all the way across!
